Do You Have To Eat Healthy To Lose Weight?
Q: My partner just told me that they’re going to end things between us because of my hang-ups in the bedroom. Given that it appears to be true that you have to eat ass for a relationship to last nowadays, is it also true that you have to eat healthy to lose weight? Fuck, I might as well drop a few pounds to make myself presentable to the next woman I’m going to disappoint sexually…
A: To lose weight, you don’t have to eat fruits, vegetables, beans, rice, chicken breast, and other “healthy” shit that you may not be particularly fond of.
I know, that’s shocking news based on what you believe intuitively 😲
Thinking that you have to eat healthy is where most people fuck up with weight loss, as they deprive themselves of things they like in favor of what they don’t. More often than not, such an approach results in the abandonment of a weight loss attempt sooner than intended because not enjoying what you eat isn’t a sustainable practice.
Instead of force feeding yourself food that you have nightmares about, you can stay with your pizza, burgers, tacos, cookies, and whatever else excites your grade school palette. However, when you eat that shit at a feeding, just reduce your portion size and/or make cuts elsewhere in your food intake so your total calorie count for the day isn’t exorbitant.
Yup, do that consistently enough and *voila* weight loss will occur because losing weight is about the quantity of food and not so much about the quality. It’s only when you’re concerned about keeping free from disease and other ailments that you should make a concerted effort to eat more nutritious foods. That’s because health, for the most part, is largely dependent on food quality, though quantity plays an important role because it’s essential to get the right amount of nutrients that the body needs to maintain itself. Other instances where food quality is a factor are when you have certain physique goals and performance objectives, as the type of food you eat matters in those circumstances as much as the amount.
So do you have to eat healthy to lose weight? The answer is no. As for eating ass to maintain a relationship? Get with the times, you fucking prude!
Now, does anyone else have a fitness or nutrition question of their own that they want to ask?
