Cheat On Your Diet

Cheat On Your Diet

Being too restrictive with what you eat can trigger cravings and feelings of deprivation that make adherence to a diet more challenging and increase the likelihood of overeating and giving up the goal of weight loss.

One of the best ways to avoid this situation is to schedule an instance during the week where you’re free to indulge in a snack or meal composed of food that’s normally avoided or limited on your diet. Here, you can eat whatever you want but only as long as it’s within reason.⁣ Once the snack or meal is over, immediately resume your diet instead of extending the higher calorie intake to another feeding opportunity.

That out of the way, cheating on your diet isn’t the only type of cheating that you might want to make a habit of doing. What else you should cheat on is any game played against children. That way, you can prevent them from ever winning and having a false sense of what the real world is like.

Indeed, do them the invaluable service of teaching that life isn’t fair and getting them used to the feeling of their spirit being crushed, as it will be every day as an adult!
