Why on earth would you ever eat a fucking apple?!?!, you ask incredulously.⁣⁣⁣

Good question!⁣⁣⁣

Apples = 🤮

And not only are apples 🤮⁣⁣ because they taste 🤮⁣⁣ but further adding to the 🤮⁣⁣ of apples is that an apple is also the logo of a tech company that (1) makes and sells grossly overpriced and overrated gadgets and (2) has a legion of increasingly annoying cult customers who wrap themselves in the brand identity and do free promotion for the company like they have a vested interest in it when they don’t because they don’t even own shares.⁣

Apples are rich in fiber and have high water content, both of which make them filling and can aid in weight loss by helping to reduce total calorie intake. Remaining on the subject of fiber, apples have a special type of that nutrient called “pectin”. What’s so great about pectin is that it’s essentially a prebiotic, as it helps improve health and wellbeing by altering the ratio of Bacteroidetes to Firmicutes in the gut microbiome. In other words, it helps promote the growth of good bacteria!

Apples also contain polyphenols, a group of antioxidants with a load of benefits. Some of these benefits include lower blood pressure and stroke risk; reduction in insulin resistance and blood sugar load to lessen the risk of type 2 diabetes; and the prevention of certain types of cancer, such as lung, breast, and stomach cancer. Additionally, polyphenols in apples can have the effect of delaying muscle fatigue. So while they may not do shit about your premature ejaculation problem, they can help you go the distance in the gym.

Yeah, I know, apples sound mighty, mighty tasty right about now!

NOTE: To get the most out of apples, leave the skin on, as it contains half of the fiber and most of the polyphenols.
