Consume Produce Whole
Apparently, you’re an eater in more ways than one.
However, of the innumerable things you’re known for gobbling from food to genitals, fruits and vegetables aren’t among them. The only way you put that stuff in your mouth is through juice.
That should change!
Fruits and vegetables are especially rich in nutrients, one of which is fiber. Among the various benefits that fiber offers, one is that it helps control the appetite by promoting fullness and slowing the absorption of sugar. When fruits and vegetables are juiced, that nutrient is typically lost with the separation of the juice from the fiber-rich pulp and skin and what’s basically left is all the sugar from the produce. The issue there is that without the fiber, the body rapidly absorbs the sugar, which causes blood glucose levels to rapidly spike and fall, leaving you hungry and likely to take in additional calories.
