The Ocean Analogy For Fat Loss
If it takes you 6 hours to swim 10 miles into the ocean, how long is it going to take to swim back to shore?1You can’t swim and if you could, you wouldn’t spend 6 hours of your life doing so. While you certainly raise a good point, just play along instead of being a fucking killjoy!
Oooooh, good job!
If swimming into the ocean took hours, you’re absolutely right that swimming back to shore isn’t going to take only a few minutes.
So what’s the fucking point?
*sigh*
The fucking point is that fat loss is exactly the same way: it’s not going to take a week or two to get back to where you used to be when getting where you ended up took you months, years, maybe decades.
So the moral of the story is to stop looking for a magic pill, diet, exercise program, workout routine, or any other quick fix to get you where you want to be. The magic pill, diet, exercise program, workout routine, whatever, to do that doesn’t exist, despite the clever marketing to the contrary and your willingness to believe out of a desire not to put in the requisite hard work for an extended duration of time.
