How Does Exercise Help Sexually?
Q: How does exercise help sexually? Like, would it help me last longer so I stop making a one-minute man look like a marathon lover in comparison?!?!

A: Nutting too quickly happens to the best of us, bub.1“Us” is a collective noun that infers my inclusion but that need not be the case here. The usage of the word here is only to make you feel better in not being alone but it is by no means a statement of my experience in dealing with what you’re dealing with because I can’t personally speak to disappointing a woman in that manner. Sure, I disappoint women all the time…but not by cumming faster than expected!!! Always or almost always coming before or soon after foreplay or intercourse, however, is something else. Frequent premature ejaculation of that kind is a sign of sexual dysfunction. While there are therapeutic techniques, oral medications, and topical numbing agents available for treating premature ejaculation, one of the things that exercise can help with sexually is delaying climax.
For reasons that aren’t yet clear why, running at a moderate intensity for at least 30 minutes five days per week can help men with premature ejaculation extend the time until ejaculation occurs. The same results have been found for other forms of exercise, like high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and yoga.2High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a workout regimen that alternates between short bursts of vigorous activity and less intense recovery periods. Further, it not only appears that exercise is a treatment for premature ejaculation but it may also have preventative powers because studies have found that the condition is more common among men with a sedentary lifestyle than those who are regularly active.
As a man, exercise can help you improve your stamina in the bedroom. But before you cum, you have to be able to get it up. On that front, men who regularly engage in moderate or high intensity cardio aren’t as prone to experience erectile problems as inactive men are. For those in the latter group who do suffer from limp dick, they can turn to medications, shockwave therapy, and the use of penis pumps for treatment. In most instances, however, all that may need to be done is to start performing aerobic work, especially when the underlying cause of the issue is physical and not psychological.
Exercise has the ability to lower the risk of erectile dysfunction and make it possible for sufferers to get and remain hard enough to have sex with themselves or someone else naturally. The reason why basically has to do with the fact that cardio exercise supports the circulatory system, which helps improve blood flow throughout the body, with one of those places being to the penis so it can swell and stiffen. This benefit not only applies to men but women as well, as exercise promotes better blood flow to the vagina for the production of lubrication and increased arousal and sensation with the swelling of the clit.
From what we’ve seen, men and women get different sexual benefits from exercise. That, however, isn’t to say that the sexual benefits from exercise are gender specific. They’re not. In fact, the overwhelming majority are shared by both alike. That includes increased energy levels, reduced stress, greater self-esteem, and boosted production of hormones that are responsible for libido. All of those are benefits of exercise that contribute to more and better sex for both men and women and are reasons why exercise should be a regular part of your life.
Now, does anyone else have a fitness or nutrition question of their own that they want to ask?
