Trying to lose weight?
Then I bet one of the first things you know or have been told to do is to move around more.
That one little fix should do ya!
Here’s the thing though, which breaks nothing that’s left of my heart to break to you.
*ahem*
You can exercise as much as you want, but you won’t see the results you’re after if your mouth is nothing more than a trash compactor.
Why?
Ummmmmmm, probably because the secret to weight loss is food moderation, not physical activity.
Yup, you read that right!!!
It’s all about nutrition, or simply eating fewer calories.
Yeah, you’re stunned, what with you getting beat upside the head that losing weight is all about moving around.
Well, it isn’t.
Exercise is pretty overrated on that front.
However, while physical activity isn’t the determinant factor that it’s often made out as, physical activity of some form does go a long way toward weight control.
So if you get little physical activity, improving your non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) by simply taking the stairs and parking farther can have drastic results (when paired with your mouth not being nothing more than a trash compactor, of course).
